Clean care for all – it’s in your hands
Each year the SAVE LIVES: Clean Your Hands campaign aims to progress the goal of maintaining a global profile on the importance of hand hygiene in health care and to ‘bring people together’ in support of hand hygiene improvement globally.
To prioritise clean hands in health and social care services, everybody needs to believe in the importance of hand hygiene and infection control. World Hand Hygiene Day seeks to change people’s attitudes towards hand hygiene, and get people washing their hands!
Taking small steps can help tackle the spread of infection – including:
- Washing our hands regularly
- Keeping a bottle of alcohol hand rub with us
- Encouraging others to wash their hands
To our colleagues and partners: thank you for leading by example and encouraging others to clean their hands.
To our clients and their families: thank you for getting involved and accepting the importance of our hand hygiene and infection control measures.
