Tackling Loneliness – MHAW

This week marks the start of Mental Health Awareness Week 2022 (9-15 May).

This year’s theme is loneliness. Loneliness is affecting more and more people in the UK and has had an untold impact on people’s physical and mental wellbeing, especially during the pandemic.

Our connections to other people and to our communities is so important for protecting our mental health and we must find better ways to tackle the epidemic of loneliness. We therefore all have a part to play.

We’re proud to offer high-quality social care to our local communities and take our responsibilities to help tackle loneliness very seriously. That’s why we’re participating in Mental Health Awareness Week this year with Wear it Green Day.
